Enjoy the Music.com is covering at least 13 consumer electronics events within a year's time. Let that sink in for a minute. We're also missing covering at least 13 other consumer electronics events we'd like to report on all around the world. If your a show promoter, you can help us help you by finding someone to cover your event for us (we pay too!) or am sure we can find a way to get one of our photojournalists there. Enjoy the Music.com also hitting a record in our variety of articles published within our perspective magazines. Special features, one-off content, and there are future ideas that are in desperate need to be realized imho. So what's a magazine to do? This is dictating a moving to new digs capable of meeting a new set of goals. Yes, this means Yours Truly, my wife Heather plus her 14 years young daughter are packing up camp, loading up a massive box truck and heading to a place that will benefit you the reader and our industry worldwide. It will also provide the opportunity to flesh out new technology skillsets and options for the content we can deliver to you. There is no doubt Enjoy the Music.com is not just expanding; we're hitting critical mass on many fronts! Oh my, where can we go from here? Plenty of places, but let's forget all that future stuff and, instead, concentrate on the most recent events shall we? Last month our one-off Special 20/20 Awards series, celebrating our 20th anniversary, highlighted digital audio products. This month we're focusing on our Special 20/20 Awards for turntables, phono cartridges and the like. Am sure my e-mail inbox will fill up with compliments and, yes, a few angry letters. Nothing seems to bring out the passion within audiophiles like their personal choice for analog playback. We also have quite a few world premiere equipment reviews this month and other great killa kool bits of gear reviewed. This month's edition of Enjoy the Music.com's Review Magazine also brings our annual Blue Note Awards. This year's Blue Note Awards list may very well be one of our smallest to date, with only 13 products receiving this very rare recognition.
Our shows reports continue as we've just completed our California Audio Show in San Francisco coverage and headed out this past weekend for the Capital Audiofest. In October there's the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest with CanJam plus our extensive TAVES Consumer Electronics Show report you can look forward to. Once we're setup within our new digs during Q4 2015, there will eventually be some exciting new developments that can come to fruition, yet can not divulge them at this time. Enjoy the Music.com readers, that's you, have been enjoying the extremely high resolution photos we've been recently offering within our show reports (remember to click on those smaller images). We're expanding and fine-tuning our worldwide efforts so please click on images inside this month's equipment reviews for the industry's highest resolution photography within reviews to date. By the way, did I forget to mention that our servers are now delivering a record amount of data to you via our massive data pipes. Please accept my apologies if your mobile data usage is also dwindling fast, though you can keep it at a normal level if you don't click on images to then see our high rez photos. If you have a highly-calibrated 4K TV with web browser, you can benefit at the realism of our imagery. The choice is yours in how much bandwidth you choose to devour. Bandwidth. I'd say more, yet for you to fully benefit from our future developments you'll be needing it. Lots of it! Readers with low latency Giga speed fiber can probably guess what's coming next. It also means you might need to make a small investment into some new technology, yet we're not 100% sure if the high-end audio industry is ready just quite yet for those advanced technologies. Considering many of you invest in $500 cables, a few hundred here or there should be easy. We'll still deliver some standard formatted information for you Old Timers still stuck in circa 2000 tech, yet what is high-end audio if we're all not pushing the boundary? Breaking the glass ceiling while thinking outside the box <groan>. It might also mean my personal appearance during high-end audio shows could become far less than in the years past.
As much as I love the high-end audio industry, it is also challenging to produce technology that only reaches a very limited audience. Imagine if we could expand our influence to a newfound audience concerning the benefits of higher quality music as the musician intended. We are right now at the cusp of widescale commercialization with Hi-Res Audio and there needs to be support from our industry. For the first time in decades, our industry will be getting a big boost in the form of support from major players. We can do this, together, so that everyone benefits! Music enthusiasts will rejoice at these new opportunities, record labels get to deliver some exciting content opportunities, plus high-end audio manufacturers may find new aficionados who desire modern gear capable of meeting their needs. You, the reader, can help too!
Expand your reach to music enthusiast discussion boards and kindly help newbies learn why Hi-Res Audio benefits them. As they may be new to all this, as a seasoned audiophile you can help guide them towards equipment that delivers exciting sound quality to bring more pleasure into their lives. Steer them to websites, educational books and print magazines that help them better understand the possibilities. Humbly said, no other magazine within the history of high-end audio has worked with more magazines and sites on a long-term basis than Enjoy the Music.com. We all want to further expand on this course of action. Everyone benefits who comes aboard for the ride. Operators are standing by, so if your publication in not aboard we're waiting to hear from you. As always, this is virtually free of cost to you. Just in case you're not aware, we have never asked for, or received, even a single penny from any partner magazines or any video we have online. None of our videos are monetized and our studio's availability has always been on a first come, first serve basis as live streaming time during consumer electronics events permit. Getting back to spreading the good word about Hi-Res Audio, we can do this together as a team. Our loyal readers, partner magazine subscribers combined with industry reviewers and experts alike, we can all function as a collective to benefit music lovers worldwide who may only be familiar with MP3. Of course these newcomers' music choices will be equally as varied as their age, and we must remember that many of us started as music enthusiasts at a young age with (perhaps) our ‘wild' choices in music. Phew! Got off track there for a bit didn't I, or did i? What is the name of this website again? Oh yeah, Enjoy the Music (and stubbornly keeping the dot com). So what it is I always say? Oh yeah, in the end what really matters is that you, whoever you are from 12 to 112 years old.…
