How Did Enjoy the Music.com Originate?
Longtime classically-trained medal-earning musician and high-fidelity audio enthusiast Steven R. Rochlin launched Enjoy the Music.com in 1995 as a way to easily answer the many questions he was receiving from others online. Since he grew tired of answering the same basic questions from various people during the very early days of the Internet, when at that time information was scarce, he felt having various common questions and answers on a website was the logical action. You can learn more about Steven R. Rochlin in his bio.

The below is part of the original site and will remain, as Max was Steven R. Rochlin's brother, who most unfortunately passed away. This entire website is, therefore, dedicated to his memory.

Max, my brother

This entire web site is dedicated to Max Rochlin who, most unfortunately, passed away. He will always be missed greatly. When he died i began to live...

"As far as my eyes can see
  There are shadows approaching me
And to those I left behind
  I wanted you to know
You've always shared my deepest feelings
  You follow where I go

And ooooh when I'm old and wise
Little words mean little to you
Autumn winds will blow right through me
And someday in the midst of time
When they ask me if I knew you
I'd smile and say you were a friend of mine
And the sadness quickly lifted from my eyes
Oh when I'm old and wise..."

  Lyrics written by Eric Woolfson
  Music performed by Alan Parsons
