There is no doubt if you loves music in the 1980's you have enjoyed listening to, and perhaps even danced to, Talking Heads music. This American band was formed in 1975 in New York City during the CBGB days and produced hit after hit until their 1991 separation. The lead singer and guitarist David Byrne was joined by Tina Weymouth on bass, Jerry Harrison on keyboards and guitar, plus Chris Frantz on drums. With the members being friends and active within the 1970s punk scene, they formed a band that brought together art rock, dance, funk and punk to "become a pioneering post-punk and new wave group" according to Wikipedia. The band/members have collaborated with other musicians including the legendary Brian Eno. Here we have a B&W full concert video featuring a variety of their songs during a 1980's show at the Capitol Theater in New Jersey. The online description says, "This is a killer performance all around. This is arguably the greatest Talking Heads lineup (with King Crimson guitarist Adrian Belew in scorching form!) and most of the "Remain In Light" material performed when it was groundbreaking and new. Fans should love every second of this incredible performance."
